The Buonarroti’s House is one of the most important muesum that you can find in Florence. The palace of Buonarroti’s House was built by the granddaughter of Michelangelo Buonarroti. Michelangelo Buonarroti was born in the province of Arezzo.

This palace was not the only residence of the Buonarroti, but this house was one of the houses that Michelangelo Buonarroti has bought and where he has lived for a certain period of his life. In the course of numerous years the last descendants have collected a lot of pieces of work of the major Italian artist.

Cosimo was the last discendant of the Buonarroti’s Family. He gave as a gift the noble palace and the whole collection of artwork to the Council of Florence. After his death, the Council of Florence decided to utilize this palace as a museum dedicated to the Buonarroti’s Family.

Inside the house/museum it is possible to admire and visit famous artworks by Michelangelo Buonarroti. Other then the most beautiful paintings and other pieces of art of the Buonarroti artist, you will discover the sequence of various multicoloured painting that represent the whole life of Michelangelo Buonarroti.
